F . A . Q ‘s
I’m an independent illustrator, writer and artist who lives and works in London. I have a Patreon page, where I share my sketches W.I.P and send out a monthly newsletter. When I’m not drawing, I’m usually eating or reading.

WHAT MATERIALS / EQUIPTMENT DO I USE?
Traditional Materials: Inks, Acrylic paint and Pencils. I need to get back into traditional art though, so I don’t really have preferred brands just yet.
Sketchbooks: I tend to use a moleskine sketchbook, but at the moment I’m using the Midori A5 MD Notebook..
Digital: I use my iPad Pro 12.9 inch & the Procreate app for most of, if not all my digital illustrations. I have used Clip Studio Paint on my iPad and have purchased the desktop version, but don’t tend to use it much as I tend to prefer working in one app from start to finish and I really like the way Procreate works. I have also used Affinity designer on the iPad, its not too bad, but I need practice as I don’t really like vector drawing apps.
I create illustrations and products based around themes of fantasy and magic, I’ve found that for me, my process starts with words. By writing down key words, phrases, thoughts, a descriptive paragraph, short story or poem, seems to work best to get me inspired.
After doing that, I’ll start sketching out ideas, figuring out colour palettes and composition, directly in procreate or my sketchbook, before working on the final piece.
SHOP & PRODUCTS aka MERCH
I’ve just setup an online shop where I sell prints, notebooks & cards. I decided to set up an online store after attending evens & pop-up markets, where customers wanted the option of purchasing my designs without having to attend an event. I’ll slowly be adding new products and shipping options as I go along and hope to reach more people with my art and stories here and via my Patreon Page.
WHAT DID YOU STUDY?
I have a Bachelors Degree in Animation and a HND in digital media production.
I’m not currently taking on any new commissions, but I’ll announce via instagram when slots become availible.
